David Clough is Senior Lecturer in Theology at the University of Chester. He is a Methodist lay preacher and served on the UK Methodist/United Reformed Church working group that produced the 2007 report Peacemaking: A Christian Vocation. David is the author of Ethics in Crisis: Interpreting Barth's Ethics (Ashgate, 2005), co-edited Creaturely Theology: On God, Humans and Other Animals (SCM, 2009) and is currently writing a book on a systematic theology of animals.
